Intellectual property : Patents – Tier 3

Aramis‘ Benjamin May recently handled multi-jurisdictional patent litigation proceedings in the food, cosmetics, technology, pharmaceuticals and life sciences sectors, as well as the management of patent portfolios. Teoxane appointed the group to handle a multi-jurisdictional dispute in Switzerland, Belgium, France and Monaco arising from the infringement of a patent and the misappropriation of know-how; this matter also involved a series of notifications before national regulatory health bodies. Associates David Roche and Louis Jestaz are also key names to note within the practice.

Intellectual property : Trade Marks and designs – Tier 4

Benjamin May is the head of the practice of seven Aramis lawyers. The firm regularly intervenes in litigation in matters of high stakes. The firm thus defends Lidl France on appeal in a trademark infringement litigation initiated by Lindt Chocoladefabriken Lindt & Sprungli AG and relating to a 3D mark of a golden rabbit model. He also coordinates procedures in this case in Germany and Switzerland. The firm also advised LagardèreTravel Retail in a pre-litigation with an American video-on-demand company, following the dissemination of a video in which appeared the brand and logo of its client, without its authorization. Several major French and international retail chains are customers. Crédit Lyonnais, Eiffage and Verweij Fashion trust the firm in particular.
