Aramis on the takeover of an Arkema company

French chemical group Arkema sold to a French family group specializing in the manufacture of products for the construction industry its subsidiary dedicated to the distribution of plastic and aluminium sheets generating a total turnover of 180 million euros in France, Spain and Italy.

Aramis assisted the purchaser in the implementation and financing of such acquisition, which also involved the participation of various banks, mezzanine funds and the target’s management team (enterprise value of 105 million euros).

The team was led by Raphaël Mellerio (partner) and included Alexis Chahid-Nouraï (partner), Saya Reshef and Hugues Testu (corporate and financing), Benoît Gréteau (partner) and Rébecca Renard (tax), Aurélien Condomines (partner) and Emma Untereiner (antitrust) as well as Frédéric Milcamps (partner) and Marlène Elmassian (labour).
