Biography
Morgane Basque leads Aramis’s Technology, Internet, and E-commerce practices. She advises leading international companies on commercial and IT contracts (SaaS, on-premise, integration, maintenance, Service Level Agreements, Agile Scrum and SAFe), on intellectual property agreements (assignment of IP assets, software licences, Open Source Software, R&D agreements), and on data protection (GDPR audits, register of data processing, privacy policies, Data Privacy Impact Assessments, transfer of data outside the EU).
She also assists and represents clients in IT/IP pre-disputes and disputes work, and during CNIL audits. Morgane further advises on digital projects, e-signature, cybersecurity, and has developed strong expertise in FinTech regulation.
Morgane began her career in 2008 as an international contracts lawyer at SFR. She then served for seven years as General Counsel of Huawei Technologies France. Before joining Aramis in 2025, she was Counsel at Bird & Bird, and previously an Associate at Harlay Avocats (formerly Kahn & Associés) and Courtois Lebel. Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2016.
