Biography
Damien Bergerot is a Counsel in Aramis’ Litigation & International Arbitration and Energy practices.
He represents clients in domestic and international litigations and arbitrations — including in Africa (notably within OHADA jurisdictions). His work focuses on commercial disputes in relation with contract performance and termination, tort claims, unfair competition, and corporate disputes (post-M&A claims, shareholder disputes, and directors’ liability).
Damien has been qualified since 2014. After an initial period at Aramis (2016–2021), Damien spent three years as a legal consultant: first with Miranda Law Firm in Lisbon (an international Africa-focused law firm), then as Head of Legal with a French SME based in Lisbon. He returned to Aramis on 1 January 2025 as a Counsel. He is a member of AIJA, APCA, and the Sciences Po Alumni network.
