Aramis advised Lexroom, an artificial intelligence platform dedicated to legal professionals, on the acquisition of Query Jurist, a French AI-powered legal research tool. The transaction marks Lexroom’s entry into the French market, where the group aims to become the number one player within eighteen months.
The three founders of Query Jurist — Étienne Le Guay, Émile Lombardo and Maxence Mortagne — as well as their entire team will join Lexroom. Query Jurist’s technology will be progressively integrated into Lexroom’s single platform, which brings together legal research, drafting, document analysis and task automation for legal professionals.
Founded in 2024, Query Jurist developed a legal research engine based on an “agentic” architecture, in which several AI models collaborate to conduct in-depth research.
Founded in Italy, Lexroom has developed a legal artificial intelligence platform built on a proprietary database of more than six million verified sources, used daily by more than 8,000 law firms and in-house legal departments. Lexroom is accelerating its European expansion with the objective of covering five markets: Italy, France, Bulgaria, Germany and Spain.
