Morgane Basque

Morgane Basque is partner in charge of the Information Technology, Internet and E-Commerce practices at Aramis.

Morgane assists leading international companies in the negotiation and drafting of commercial and IT contracts (SaaS, on-premise, integration contracts, maintenance contracts, service level agreements “SLA”, Agile Scrum and SAFe projects), intellectual property agreements (assignment of rights, software licenses, Open Source Software, R&D agreements) as well as personal data law (RGPD audit, register of processing activities, privacy policy, privacy impact analysis, data transfers outside the EU). She also assists and represents clients in their IT/IP pre-litigation and litigation, as well as in their CNIL inspections. She also assists with the implementation of their dematerialization of contracts, electronic signatures and cybersecurity projects, and in recent years has developed expertise in FinTech regulations.

Morgane holds a Master I in Private Law (Erasmus at Bristol University (UK)), a Master I in Business Law from Paris II Panthéon-Assas University (Maîtrise de Droit des Affaires) and a Master II Droit du Multimédia et de l’Informatique from Paris II-Assas University. She was sworn in as a lawyer in 2016.

She began her career in 2008 as an international contracts lawyer at SFR, before becoming Legal Director of Huawei’s French subsidiary, Huawei Technologies France, where she remained for seven years. Morgane joined Aramis in 2025 from Bird & Bird, where she was Counsel, and previously from Harlay Avocats (formerly Kahn & Associés) and Courtois Lebel.
