Founded in 1989 by René Lagrèze and Laurent Gautier, Ilex is a software publisher specializing in identity and access management (IAM). The company offers solutions currently used by over 300 customers and 14 million users, and employs over 70 people at 3 sites in France.

The Aramis team involved in this transaction included partner Alexis Chahid-Nouraï and counsel Aymeric de Mol, on M&A and corporate aspects, and partner Frédéric Milcamps and associate Oriane Viardot, on employment law aspects.

The Veil Jourde law firm (Benoît Gréteau and Rébecca Renard) also worked alongside the sellers on tax issues.
